Joanna A. Hoskins

Joanna “Sue” Hoskins of Falls, PA, age 79. Pastor and co-founder of Maranatha Fellowship Church and Alpha Omega Academy, located in Swoyersville, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 12, 2021. Joanna was the wife of the late Rev. Harold Hoskins of 54 years. Born in Kingston, PA, she is the daughter of the late Fred L. Rosencrans and the late Alma Vincent. Joanna attended West Pittston schools. She received her ordination from the Pinecrest Bible Training Center in New York. In the 1970s, she founded the Full Gospel Women’s Fellowship of Wyoming Valley which included Prison Ministry, Women’s Full Gospel Chorus Group, Teen Fellowship and Food for the Hungry Ministry. Joanna was also an instrument along with her husband in the meetings of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Followship of Wilkes Barre, PA, where she was the pianist for many years. Along with her husband, she traveled and ministered to many states in the USA and several countries abroad including Mexico and Italy and sponsored several tours to Israel. She was the owner and operator of Hoskins Rest Home in Exeter, PA along with her husband. They held Tuesday night pray meetings there for 7 years. Joanna was also very much a part of the family business Underwater Screening Services located in Forty Fort, PA. Surviving are her sons, Dwayne Hoskins of Falls, PA, Darryl Hoskins and his wife Doreen of Dallas, PA, and her daughter, Alissa Krupp of Dunmore, PA; three grandchildren, Faith, Krista, Gianna, and four great grandchildren, Josiah, Quentin, Grace, and Tessa; son-in-law, Michael Krupp and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Derek Hoskins (8 months) and siblings, Alma Dombek, Fred Rosencrans, and Harry Rosencrans.
