Thursday, April 5, 2018Fisk Family, I am offering my sympathy about the death of Trudy. Although I don't live in Tunkhannock any longer, I often took late parents ( Dan and Bertha Holod) to 5:00 mass on Saturday. Your Mom was always there and greeted my parents warmly. Also Trudy was very kind to my mother Bertha, who was suffering from dementia in later years, when I took my mother to Women's Club. I remember that my parents went back a long way with Murray and Trudy as the "old guard : from Tunkhannock had a special bond. Kate Holod

Thursday, April 5, 2018Trudy was the first person to come to our door with a cake when we moved to Tunkhannock. She was always warm and welcoming and included us in family birthday parties in the “party room” (I.e. bomb shelter, it was the 60’s). And years later when I moved back she was the same lovely person she had always been. I’ll miss her!

Wednesday, April 4, 2018I am so sorry to learn of this. We always call her "Aunt Trudy" because she was like a sister to my mom, Mary Lou Selker Dufault. Aunt Trudy always made us laugh. I loved swimming with her when she would come to visit us in NH. Even this past Christmas I had a wonderful note that I will cherish from her. Her love and kindness was an important part of our family and she will never be forgotten. Love to all, Jackie

Tuesday, April 3, 2018There was a lifetime ago, as a child and into my teens, that having the Fisks as friends was a highlight of each day--- like family, you just knew they were there and that we would be into some project each Sunday. What a family to grow up with. Murray and Trudy are certainly a big part of what The Greatest Generation has come to be known. It doesn't get any better than that!

Tuesday, April 3, 2018Please accept my deepest sympathies. Many many years ago I was lucky enough to learn how to make a Christmas wreath from Trudy and Betty Brown. This started with going in the woods to find the ground and princess pine. It is a memory and lesson I treasure every Christmas. What a wonderful lady
