Marjorie B. Cook of Tunkhannock died Friday in the Jewish Home in Scranton. She was born in Scranton on July 30, 1927 daughter of the late Harry and Lottie Dawson Brown.

Prior to her retirement she was employed in the Housekeeping Department of the Clarks Summit State Hospital. She was an active member of the Church of the Nativity B.V.M in Tunkhannock.

She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick J. Cook, Brothers Harry, Jerman, Dick, Ronnie, Bob and Sam Cook, sisters: twin sister Grace, Romaine, Charlotte.

Surviving are sons and spouses Robert and Virginia Cook, Point Pleasant, NJ, Thomas and Kathie Cook, Seattle, Washington, sisters Joyce Dietrich of Scranton, Joan Devbin of Olyphant; grandchildren Julie and Patrick Cook, NJ, Kathie and Sam Cook, Ca.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 13’Th at the Church of the Nativity BVM in Tunkhannock.  Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola.  Family will receive friends at the church from 9 am until the time of service.
