Elizabeth L. Bowers

Elizabeth L. Bowers of Quick Road Meshoppen died Tuesday, April 21st at Tyler Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on September 16, 1935 daughter of the late Stanley and Marie (Hall) Gorski. Prior to retirement she worked at Shadow Brook Resort for 21 years. She was preceded in death by her husband James and a sister Marie Karasack. Surviving are her children Donna O’Donnell and Betty O’Brian both of Philadelphia, Donald and Daniel Lees both of Tunkhannock, David Lees and Theresa Bowers both of Lemon, Vince Bowers of Wilkes-Barre, and Michelle Ganly of Nicholson. Brother Dennis Gorski of Philadelphia. She loved her family and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 4 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc. 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with Rev. John Shaffer. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 pm until the time of service.
