Michael Morykon

Michael Morykon, 86, of Factoryville died Wednesday, March 24th at the Golden Living Personal Care Home in Tunkhannock. He is survived by his wife Josephine Drost Morykon. He was born in Wilkes-Barre on March 21, 1924 son of the late John and Anna Lohiosky Morykon. He is preceded in death by his sister Mary Tirtirsky. He is survived by his daughters; Lorraine Carey of Factoryville, and Kathleen Shaw of Nicholson, sons; Michael of Lynchburg, VA and Richard of Tunkhannock; brothers; John of Georgia, and Pete of North Carolina, sisters; Sophie Pucylowski of Wilkes-Barre, Anna Marsola of Pittston, Helen Nagarek of Pittston, Kathryn Shivell of Mechanicsburg, and Francis Tersigni of Alpha, NJ, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc, 73 West Tioga St., Tunkhannock on Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A mass of Christian Burial and interment will be private.
