Thomas J. Hill

Thomas J. Hill of W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock died at his home on Friday, June 18th, 2010. He was born in Newark, NJ on December 1, 1937 son of the late Al and Mae Wehrle Hill. Tom was a Navy Veteran and for over 10 years he drove a Taxi Cab in Atlantic City. He moved to the Scranton area where he worked as a Maintenance Manager in Tall Trees Apartments in Scranton. Tom is finally at peace with his loving wife Fran and will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Perez Hill, daughter Danielle German, sister Marion Lyons. Surviving is a son Thomas Hill of Tunkhannock, daughters Pamela Yarsavage, Denise Lohmann and Colleen Frantz all of Tunkhannock, Elizabeth Tyler of Montrose, brothers John “Jack” Hill and Alfred “Adam” Hill of New Jersey, Joseph Hill of Florida, 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at the home of his daughter Denise Lohmann of Centermoreland. Arrangements by the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St, Tunkhannock.
