Miriam L. Musser

Miriam L. Musser, 66, of 6 Hickory Drive, Tunkhannock, PA, died on Sunday afternoon, February 28, 2010 at Geisinger of Wyoming Valley Medical Center, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her husband, Bob, of 45 years. Born in Caernarvon Township, PA, she was the daughter of Lester and Maggie Good, both deceased. She retired as a cook and cafeteria manager at the Rosland Elementary School, a job she enjoyed for nearly twenty years. She was a member of the Lakeview Mennonite Church in Susquehanna, PA where she was involved in music and worship leading She loved playing tennis with her dear friends, tending her beautiful flower gardens, as well as golfing with Bob. Surviving besides her husband are daughter, Maria, married to Douglas Mussleman of Canadensis, PA and son, Tim of Lancaster, PA, three grandchildren, Lydia, Rachel, and Jacob; three sisters, Alice, wife of Raymond Martin of Ephrata, PA, Rhoda, wife of Andre Kalend of Morgantown, WV, and Ruth of Lititz, PA. She had four brothers, Elvin (deceased), husband of Eleanor of Rothville, PA, Arthur of Narvon, PA, Harold, husband of Joanne of Anderson, South Carolina, and Robert, husband of Cindy of Blue Ball, PA. She also had numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Bible Church, Route 92 South, Tunkhannock, PA. Friends and family may call at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 West Tioga Street, Tunkhannock, PA on Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m..
