Doris S. Miller, 72 of Clarks Summit died Thursday, December 3 at CMC Hospital in Scranton following a long Illness. She was surrounded by family and friends as she passed from this life. She was born in Tunkhannock on March 23, 1937 daughter of the late Thomas and Harriet Carpenter Miller. Before she retired she was employed as a seamstress at Mill City Dress Factory. Doris loved to sew and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and pets. She was preceded in death by a brother Byron Miller. She is survived by son and daughter in law, Tim and Shannon Miller, Carbondale, daughter and son in law, Barbara and George Miller, Tunkhannock, brothers Harry Miller, Tunkhannock, Carl Miller, Nevada, Harold Miller, Tunkhannock, and Howard Miller of Wilkes-Barre, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor Rick Wormer Pastor of the Tunkhannock Assembly God Church. Interment will be in Jackson Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5 to 7.
