Peggy J. Whipple

Peggy J. Whipple of Tunkhannock died Friday at the Golden Living Personal Care Home in Tunkhannock. She was born in Williamsport in 1933, daughter of the late P. Eugene and Gladys Jacobs Martin. She was a graduate of Williamsport High School class of 1951. Prior to her retirement she worked as a laborer and Union President at GTE in Williamsport. Surviving are son’s Ron Whipple of Tunkhannock and Dennis Whipple of Williamsport; a sister Phyllis Herritt of Lake Placid, Florida; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son Wayne E. Whipple and a sister Beverly Guinter. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
