Jackie A. Dispenza

Jackie A. Dispenza of Beverly Drive, Tunkhannock died Wednesday, June 15 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Jackie was born in Rochester, NY on November 10, 1989 daughter of Patrick and Maureen Curran Dispenza. She was a graduate Tunkhannock High School Class of 2007 and just completed her first year a Lackawanna College obtaining a 3.93 QPA. Jackie, in every sense of the word, was unique which sounds to cliché to be an accurate description. She was brilliant and quick-witted. She would surprise us even after we thought nothing else could. She was stunning; always well put together, even when she refused to believe it; even on her worst days, she had a radiant smile-the kind that you couldn’t help but return with your own. Her love of art was enduring: everything she touched turned out beautifully. Above all, Jackie could do anything she put her mind to. She was hired at any job she applied for and preformed exceptionally in them all. When she wanted something and truly worked for it, nothing could stop her. Jackie was preceded in death by her Paternal grandfather Louis F. Dispenza. In addition to her parents she is survived by a brother Paul, sister Rachel Dispenza both of Tunkhannock. Maternal grandparents Paul and Aleen Curran, Paternal grandmother Sally Broccolo and Step grandfather Fil Broccolo Paternal Great Grandmother Ange Guggino all of Rochester, NY. Paternal uncles Joseph Dispenza and Wife Patricia, Louis Dispenza, Paternal Aunt Karen Dispenza all of Rochester, NY, maternal aunt Colleen and John Celetani and maternal uncle Kevin Curran both of Rochester, NY, and several cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 8 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with Mr. Ernest King of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church.
