Deborah A. McCormick

Deborah A. McCormick 53, of Tunkhannock died Thursday, July 10 at the Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. She is surrived by her husband of 35 years James R. McCormick of Tunkhannock. She was born in Burlington, VT on February 22, 1955 daughter of Ramona Gordon of Burlington, VT and the late Armand “ Jack “ Guilbault. She was a 1973 graduate of the Tunkhannock Area High School. She was a member of St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, President of the Lower Wyoming County food pantry, she was on the Board of social justice, and was very active in the Lake Winola Little League assocation. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who loved the outdoors and fishing with her best friend Marylou Franko. She is surrived by her son Scott J. McCormick, of Massachuttes, daughters Karianne M. McCormick – Filer, of Lake Winola, Darci L. Tomczak, of Milton, FL, and Kami L. McCormick, of Milton, FL. Brothers Gary Guilbault, of Hartland, VT, and James Guilbault, of Burlington, VT. Sisters Linda Payette, of St. Cloud, FL, Nancy Ciurleo, of Bradford, VT, Gail Gamache, of Rome, NY, and Judy Snyder, of Derry NH, and grandchildren Taylor, Emelie, Konnor, Kendall, and Chase. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church in Lake Winola. Interment will be held on Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola. Family and friends may call at the church from 9: 00 AM until the time of the service. Arrangements made by Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock. In Lieu of Flowers memorial contrubutions can be made to the American Cancer society or the Lake Winola Fire Company.
