Obituary of Shawn Michael Dowd

Shawn Michael Dowd, of Lake Winola, died at Lake Winola on Friday, April 2, 2010. He was born in Tunkhannock, on May 25, 1980, a son of Michelle Jette of Lake Winola and Casey Dowd of Scranton. He was a 1998 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and was employed by Winola Industries in Lake Winola. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Marlene and Alvin Rolletscheck; maternal grandfather Arthur Jette; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley Dowd; and cousins, Nicholas Jette, Christopher Ward and Thomas Burggerman. Surviving are a brother, Casey Dowd, of Falls; sisters, Laura and Amber Paulton and Sabrina Dowd, all of Scranton; as well as a cousin, Richard Clark, of Dalton. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
