Margaret Kresge

Margaret Kresge (better known as Peggy), 87, of Lake Winola, peacefully passed away amongst her loving family in her home on Monday December 12th . She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 56 years the late Arland Kresge. Born at Lake Winola, daughter of the late Leon and Clara Stevens, she graduated from Falls-Overfield High Schools. She was a devoted member of the Lake Winola United Methodist Church, she was also a Red Hat member. She devoted her life to raising her daughters, and created a loving home that was often filled with laughter from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she filled their hearts with love and precious memories. As a gracious hostess, she always welcomed her friends and family. Surviving are her daughters, Marland Cannella and husband, David; Karen Jackson and husband Russ; Gail Houser all of Lake Winola; grandchildren: Naomi and Dan Bert, Ethan and Bridgette Cannella, Sara Cannella, Matt Rozina, Melodie and Kevin Madus; Lucas and Benjamin Jackson; Abigail, Adrienne, Owen Houser, Thomas Voorhees; great-grandchildren: Bradley and Carly Bert, Kyle Bert, Emily Bert; Braedyn Cannella, Adaelyn Cannella; Julien Madus, Callaway Madus, Abram Madus, one great-great-grand-daughter: Arianna Bert Memorial service will be held Thursday, December 15th at 7:00 PM at Lake Winola Methodist Church 326 Maple Dr.; Lake Winola, PA, A gathering of friends and family will be held Thursday from 5:00 PM until the time of the service, Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola at the convenience of the family.
