Carl Fredrick “Fred” Clark of Wyoming Ave., Tunkhannock died Thursday at Tyler Memorial hospital in Tunkhannock. He was born in North Orwell, Bradford Co., Pa. on January 25, 1922 son of the late Robert and Hazel Wood Clark. Fred was a Marine Corp veteran of the World War II and the Korean Conflict. A graduate of Rome High School and he attended Bucknell University. He was a partner and Salesman for Paul Rown Associates selling Sporting Goods. In his younger years he was active in the Tunkhannock Baseball Association serving as a coach. For several years he was a PIAA referee for basketball in the Scranton and Wilkes-Barre area and was a disappointed Yankee Fan. Surviving is his wife of 61 years Donna Navle Clark, son Dane and wife Shawn Clark of Tunkhannock, daughter Lynn Clark of White Haven, brother Leigh of Florida, Sister Alice Bock of Baltimore, Md., and two grandchildren Josh and Erin. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 12 noon from the Sheldon- Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA with Rev. Lori Robinson, Pastor of the Eatonville United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 am until the time of service.
