Lois Plushanski

Lois Roller Plushanski 81 of Fieldcrest Drive, Tunkhannock died Thursday morning, Sept. 25, 2008, at the Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Henry Plushanski. She was born in Somerville, N.J., on May 26, 1927, daughter of the late Louis and Victoria Bulka Roller. She was a 1945 graduate of the Somerville High school and then graduated from Somerset nursing school. She was a member of the Tunkhannock Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her son Robert Plushanski. She is survived by a son, Gary Plushanski, of Chicago, Ill., daughters, Carol Garnecki and Dawn Risley, both of Tunkhannock, and sister Carol Carver, of Morris Plains, N.J.; three grandchildren; Five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Kenneth Trexler Pastor of the Tunkhannock Presbyterian Church. Interment in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
