Kathryn J. Monsey

Kathryn J. Monsey of Jenkins Road Tunkhannock died Saturday at her home. She was born on Russell Hill Wyoming County on July 30, 1934 daughter of the late George and Stella Winnie Jenkins. She was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School class of 1952 and prior to her retirement she was employed as a secretary. She was preceded in death by brothers Kenneth and James Jenkins, a sister Margaret Claypool. Surviving is her husband of 55 years Joseph E. Monsey, daughter and son in law Marci and Larry Kacyon of Whitehall, Pa., brothers Earl of Phoenix, Az., Jack of Aurora, Ill., Jerry of Tunkhannock. Sisters Jennie Bartron and Betty Monsey both of Tunkhannock, Hazel Richardson of Mesa, Az., grandsons Matthew and Dana Kacyon of Whitehall. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday evening 8 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with the Rev. Lori Robinson. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7 pm until the time of service.
