Robert H. Evans

Robert H. Evans 76, of Falls died Wednesday September 24 at Mercy Hospital Scranton. He is survived by his wife Abbie Smith Evans. He was born on June 3, 1932 son of the late Richard and Ruth Mitchell Evans. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He is preceded in death by his sister Laura Evans who passed away on September 21. He is survived by his sons Robert and David, of Tunkhannock and Tom of Falls, Daughters Linda Finch, of New York, Judy Wooten, of North Carolina, and Ruth Hopkins, of Falls, seventeen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. A memorial services will be held Saturday, September 27th at 11:00 AM along with his sister Laura M. Evans from the Mill City Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dorothy Rugg. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola, In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Mill City Assembly of God Church.
